How does the weighted composite score get calculated?
It's a raw weighted sum: each metric's 0-100 score is multiplied by the weight you assign it (from -2 for "strongly avoid" to 2 for "strongly prioritize"), and the results are added together. It's deliberately not normalized against the corpus average - an unequal weight is the only way to make one metric matter more than another, so the ranking stays predictable as the corpus grows.
What happens if I only weight one metric?
The leaderboard becomes a straightforward ranking by that single metric, high to low. There's no minimum number of weighted metrics required - one is a valid, useful query on its own.
Can a metric I set to "avoid" still appear high in an idea's profile?
Yes. A negative weight pulls an idea's composite score down when that metric is high, but it's a sum across everything you've weighted - an idea can still rank near the top if it scores exceptionally well on your other prioritized metrics, even while scoring high on one you marked to avoid.
Why does the leaderboard cap at 20 results?
It's a ranked shortlist, not a browse tool - if you want to page through the full matching set instead, apply the same metrics as range filters in Smart Filters, which paginates the complete result set.
